FOX NEWS sponsors fox News article Fox News host Sean Hannity said Thursday that Fox News Channel has reached an agreement to allow him to return to the network after a suspension.
Hannity said he will be returning to Fox News after he was suspended for violating Fox News’ rules, which prohibit the host from discussing the death of a former colleague.
Fox News said Hannity was suspended over an article published by the right-wing news outlet, the Drudge Report.
Hannity has not commented on his future plans.
He was suspended in July after Fox News issued a correction after a video showed him discussing a sexual relationship with a married colleague.
“I think the bottom line is this: I want to be a Fox News contributor,” Hannity said during an interview with host Sean O’Reilly.
“The bottom line, I think, is that FoxNews.com, the website, has reached a conclusion that I don’t feel I’m a good fit there.”
Hannity has also said he won’t continue to appear on Fox News as a regular.
FoxNews has not returned The Associated Press’ request for comment.
